Founded in 2013, The TGi Group began as The Granite Importer (TGi), a family-led venture by Roldan, Jerusa, and Dhiego. Under the guidance of Roldan P. Guerrero, TGi evolved from exclusively distributing granite, quartz, and other stone slabs to partnering with TSF - The Stone Fabricator Inc., who expertly fabricates these materials into countertops and custom stone projects.
This partnership led to the creation of TGi Quartz and Granite, and this expansion allowed the company to provide kitchen countertops, bathroom vanity tops, fireplace and bath surrounds, outdoor stone installations, and other custom stone projects using stone slabs.
When COVID-19 hit, the industry faced unprecedented challenges, but TGi remained resilient. Under the leadership of Roldan P. Guerrero, the company swiftly adapted to the changing landscape, implementing enhanced health and safety procedures in its retail stores to protect customers and staff. Recognizing the need for spacious, customer-friendly environments, TGi expanded its reach by opening two new Showroom & Design Centres—one at 1884 Merivale Rd. (West-End) and another at 3009 Hawthorne Rd. (East-End). These locations were designed to provide a more personalized, less crowded shopping experience, ensuring homeowners could explore stone surfaces comfortably.
